Envelope Punch Board

You have NO idea how excited I was when they unveiled the Envelope Punch Board at Convention.  I've always loved making my own envelopes, but just have not had the time to do them.  So I knew I absolutely had to order the Envelope Punch Board, and it arrived on Monday.  And do you want to know the funny thing?!  I haven't even made a single envelope with it yet, but I am totally in LOVE with this tool!!

Now, about the tool itself. . . . . Why go with boring, white, normal-sized envelopes when you can use colorful paper to create everything from itty bitty to long and skinny? Our Envelope Punch Board makes it easy to customize envelopes in up to 66 different sizes!

Envelope Punch Board includes:
* An easy-to-use chart to create up to 66 different envelope sizes (including standard sizes). The measurements are provided both in inches and centimeters.
* A scoring tool in a convenient storage slot.
* Two punches designed right into the tool itself: one to make the envelope and one to round its corners.

Sounds pretty cool, right?!  So, if I haven't been using it for envelopes, then what HAVE I been doing with this tool?!  Well, at Diva Day this past Sunday, there was talk about creating 'file folder' cards using the Envelope Punch Board, so I had to give it a try as soon as I opened my order the other day.

First up, I had to play with some Halloween papers. . . .
And then using the same basic idea, thought I should create a card to use for one of my upcoming make-up sessions for Christmas cards. . .
It's using the same basic card base as any other card (5 1/2" x 8 1/2" folded in half), so will be able to mail like any other card.  Though if you change sizes, etc., you always CAN use the Envelope Punch Board to create your own custom sized envelope to go with the card!!  Two-for-one-use!  How cool is that?!

Now, a word of caution.  I know the U.S. Postal Service gets a little crabby when folks mail overly ornate envelopes, so think about using more subtle or solid papers if you're going to be dropping the item in the mail--and remember that off-sized envelopes may require additional postage as well.  BUT, if you're creating the envelope to go on a hand-delivered gift, then by all means, feel free to get as wild/crazy as you'd like!!

Happy Stamping!
