April 2014 Card Workshop

I feel like I've been a card-making machine lately!!  And as a result, I haven't had much going on in the way of blog posts!!  A week ago Sunday was Diva Day, and this past Saturday was one of my demonstrator Stamp Share meetings.  Both involved making/swapping cards, and since I knew the theme on one of the swap Saturday was 'masculine', I wanted to wait to check out the cards I got back in the swap before I decided on my cards for this month!  I absolutely LOVE the training and friendships that have come out of these meetings!

O.K.  Cards for this month.  First up, the Christmas Card:

I know Graduations are a month away, but I always try to have a Graduation card as the other April Occasion card.

April 2014 Occasion Card #1

I knew I wanted one of my Occasion cards to have a masculine feel (what with Father's Day coming up, and also the many masculine birthdays that folks have to have cards for!).   The card shown here is done using My Digital Studio, but folks WILL be making the 'real life' version of this card, NOT the digital version!!  (I just had all of the supplies to make the card digitally and didn't have everything 'in real life'!!)

April 2014 Occasion Card #2

Remember, each month will be a different holiday card design with matching envelopes. I'll do all of the prep work, and all you'll have to do is come and stamp and complete your cards! The cost of each workshop will be $15 and you must RSVP by the 15th each month (to give me time to order and prep everything). 

Now, Christmas Cards 'might' not interest everyone, perhaps you want to get a 'stash' of occasion cards made, well, you have that option, too!! When you sign up for the workshop, you can choose the Occasion Cards instead of the Christmas cards (same price--$15, you'll make five cards of two different designs for 10 total cards, and matching envelopes)!! 

If BOTH the Christmas and Occasion cards interest you, then you can register for both for only $25! I just need the RSVP's in order to have the projects prepped and ready to go in time! 1146 Highland Ave., Nfld, MN. April's Workshop is planned for April 30, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.

I'd love for you to join me at the Card Workshop!!  RSVP by the 15th of April and I will have a packet ready to go for you when you come on the 30th!!
